I'll try again some other time. The main perk of the ring is the substantial increase to Experience gain, and the goal for most players is to create a ring that’s got decent stats as well, so they’re not giving up too much DPS by using the Hellfire Ring instead of a Legendary or Rare ring. I dreaded slogging through Chalice Dungeons. Bloodborne- I tried to return to it after being stuck on Orphan of Kos while also at the endgame so I gave up. But I was burned out after making it to the final story mission. On the back-burner: The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom- I want to return to it since I have 90+ hours. But I want to get back to it because Mercedes is unique in that she's the only one who uses a ranged weapon. Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir (PS4)- I'm about a chapter or two into Mercedes' story and the combat is starting to feel dull so I dropped it. Plus it has an awful UI design that's too overwhelming on the map. But I hate that the game relies on its detective vision system which detracts from the art direction. Namely, not being able to climb any surface is arbitrary and aerial bullet time.īut the combat is the star when it's not the awkward platforming which is very arcade-style it reminds me of Lost Planet honestly with shooting the glowing bits. I have many quibbles with this game since so much stuff feels dated compared to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of The Kingdom. Horizon: Zero Dawn Complete Edition (PS4)- I'm about halfway through the story quests. Still, it's fun so I'm having a good time even though the framerate is a bit janky at times my PS4 Slim is howling to keep it together. I like the character designs and level designs a lot even though the level-up and upgrade system trivializes many boss fights. It's good! The combat was influenced by Dark Souls/Bloodborne because dashing to dodge feels good. Darksiders III (PS4)- I'm about 3/7 story bosses in and met Pride. My PS4 is getting more love lately while the Switch takes a break. I have a busy-ish weekend so we'll see how much time I have to game.
